Inspired by the charm of Showa-era Japan, this detailed DIY book nook recreates a cozy corner store filled with colourful sweets, snacks, drinks, magazines, capsule toys and everyday household goods. The miniature scene is designed to capture the nostalgic feeling of a small local shop where every shelf is packed with tiny treasures and familiar details.
Warm LED lighting illuminates the shop interior after assembly, bringing the shelves, storefront and miniature accessories to life and creating a cozy evening atmosphere when displayed between books.
With 225 pieces, an estimated assembly time of approximately 11 hours, and a 4-star difficulty rating, TGE05 is a more involved build than many of Rolife’s newer snap-fit kits. An early builder review also notes that the model includes some wire work and additional crafting steps rather than relying entirely on simple snap-fit assembly.
