From Mobile Suit Gundam SEED VS ASTRAY, the Gundam Astray Mirage Frame Second Issue joins the Master Grade lineup with newly molded parts supervised by mechanical designer Junichi Akutsu.
Piloted by Rondo Gina Sahaku, the Mirage Frame 2nd Issue is an upgraded version of the original MBF-05LM Mirage Frame, rebuilt after Gina’s defeat by Gai Murakumo. The redesigned machine is optimized for devastating super close-range combat, with extreme performance that was originally considered too dangerous for mass production.
This MG kit faithfully recreates the distinctive design of the Mirage Frame Second Issue and includes a wide range of weapons and accessories. The loadout features the C-Sword A-type and B-type, shoulder-mounted Fin Rifles, rear-mounted Saber Fangs, as well as classic Astray equipment such as the Amenohabakiri sword, beam sabers, beam rifle, and anti-beam shield.
True to the original design, the kit can also transform into its unique four-legged Brute Mode without requiring part swapping, allowing builders to recreate the unit’s aggressive close-combat stance. The Brute Head features integrated weapon systems, while the curved-firing beam rifle enables dynamic attack poses.
Additional features include a detailed cockpit, newly sculpted Rondo Gina Sahaku pilot figures, water-transfer decals, effect parts, and an action base for display.
